The sixteenth edition of the CO2 Newsletter, published bi-monthly by American geologist William N. Barbat between 1979 and 1982 is live. You can download a pdf, or read the html version here.
The eight page issue has a front page story on 1981 as the hottest year… oh, such innocent times.
There isn’t, for once, an editorial, but instead some interesting correspondence. There’s the usual “excerpts from recent reports” and then a closing short article “Potential sources of capital to halt the CO2 buildup”.
Barbat’s work, his prescience, deserve our attention and respect.
