This site is run by me, Dr Marc Hudson. I had two goes (2014 and 2017) before, in 2022, I finally got it “right” (made it to the end of the first year).
It site is for
a) myself – to keep loose track of some of the stuff I have dug up from archives. reading, watching, listening, learning
b) people who want to have a wider (if not necessarily deeper) understanding of how long we have known about the problem and been failing to actually act
There is LOTS wrong with the site – it is very white/male/Western. It is messy in places (in unproductive ways, not the Tim Harford Messy kind of way).
It would be a lot lot worse if it weren’t for the wonderful (unpaid) efforts of my Canadian friend Sam.
